DI’s mission is contributed in improving the standard of living of impoverished people and communities by assisting them in the implementation of their own original poverty-reducing ideas or projects. This mission is accomplished as follows:
Identifying and supporting the most promising and innovative ideas of the poor through technical assistance and/or grants;
Contributing to the implementation of new ideas and innovative projects/solutions that can benefit the community
Serving as a facilitator or starting point for donors, charitable individuals and organizations that want to help reduce poverty and promote economic development at the micro community level through local technological innovations.
